PANAGIA SOUMELA is proud to present it’s First Pontian History Seminar Program and hopes to maintain it on an annual basis.

This program is not organized to make money but to promote and present to all people the Greek Pontian History and cultural wealth.

(At the end of the program there will be available for participants to buy at very low cost, CD’s with the Historical narrations and DVD’s or Video with the presentations and pictures of historical events, to refer to when you need)

AT EVERY SESSION MR. KYRIAKIDIS WILL TEACH THE HISTORY OF PONTIAN HELLENISM FROM THE FIRST SETTLEMENT IN HISTORIC PONTOS UP TO THE PRESENT DAY.

SATURDAY APRIL 12 7:30 P.M .- Ottoman Empire, Neoturks and Genocide.
SATURDAY APRIL 19 7:30 P.M .- Greeks in Russia / USSR and Repatriation to Greece.
SATURDAY APRIL 26 NO CLASSES.
SATURDAY MAY 03 7:30 P.M .- Presentation on the 1st Int’l Convention of Pontian Studies.
SATURDAY MAY 10 7:00 P.M. – Pontians today, Ceremony.
